Getting to Navy SEAL Museum San Diego

The Museum is located at 1001 Kettner Blvd. San Diego, CA 92101 in downtown San Diego. Located in the heart of downtown San Diego, the Museum is easily accessible by car, trolley, train, or rideshare.

Parking

Street Parking
Metered street parking is available throughout downtown and is subject to posted time limits and city fees. Availability can vary depending on the day and time.

Nearby Parking Garages
Multiple paid public parking garages are located within walking distance of the Museum. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to allow time to park and walk to the entrance.

Public Transportation

Public transit is an excellent option to get to Navy SEAL Museum San Diego! To view a comprehensive map of all trolley stops, visit the MTS website here.

The Museum is adjacent to the American Plaza Trolley Station, where the UC San Diego Blue, Green, and Orange lines interchange. You can also take the COASTER directly to Santa Fe Depot.

Entry Policies

  • To receive free admission for children and active military personnel, visit the Information Desk on the day of your visit and present your valid DoD issued ID. All other guests within your party must purchase tickets online or in person.
    • Ticket prices will be higher for walk-up sales. Advance online purchase is highly recommended.
  • All visitors are subject to a bag and backpack search.
    • Prohibited items include, but are not limited to,
      • Weapons are strictly prohibited on museum property.
      • No food or beverages are allowed.
      • Bicycles, skateboards & scooters
  • Guests under 16 years old must always be accompanied and supervised by a guardian 18 years & older.

Duration of Visit

A self-guided tour is approximately 60 minutes. Docent-led tours are approximately 90 minutes.
